1 stick of margarine or butter melted
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed ripe bananas
2 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1/2 c. or more if you like of chocolate chips( I use the mini chips because I think they distribute better in a batter)
Preheat the oven to 325*.
Melt one stick of butter in a microwave safe dish. Add the sugar and eggs to the cooled butter, then add in the mashed bananas and mix. Add flour, salt, baking soda, and chocolate chips and mix. Pour the batter into 1 or 2 loaf pans depending on size and bake for 60-75 minutes until done. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes and then take out and finish cooling on a wire rack. You could also use this batter to make muffins, just adjust the baking time.
